Unfortunately after living on the islands for 6 yrs, I did not pick up ukulele playing until i moved to the mainland, so my toughest issue is learning from someone fluent on uke cuz they are so hard to find over here, so then i've been self teaching myself for the past 4 yrs... it's been ok... i can strum well, but I am not feeling like a complete player until I can master picking and improvisation... listening to "moonlight bay" on your site... my main question is regarding the last run or scale played on the song... it's fast, and there's alot of notes... any chance you could tell me how it's done...??? like... is the picking up and down... w/ or w/o a pick... are you incorporating multiple finger use... how do you know when to switch fingers over to another string or even just on one string...
someone hit me up... =)
